  1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water with sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a separate large bowl, heat milk and butter until butter melts. Let it cool.
  3. Add yeast mixture, salt, and 2 cups of flour to the bowl with the milk and butter. Mix well.
  4. Gradually add the remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, until a soft dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  7. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball.
  8. Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet, cover with a towel, and let them rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  10. Bake the rolls for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Remove from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack.
  12. Serve warm and enjoy!
