  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a round cake tin.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Stir until smooth and remove from heat.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and caster sugar until pale and thick.
  4. Gradually fold in the melted chocolate mixture.
  5. Sift in the plain flour and cocoa powder, and gently fold until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest in the tin for 10 minutes.
  9. Carefully invert the cake onto a serving plate and let it cool completely.
  10. Dust with icing sugar before serving.
