  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, ground cardamom, and a pinch of salt.

  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Press the dough into a greased tart pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  7. In the meantime, cut the figs into quarters.
  8. Remove the tart pan from the refrigerator and arrange the figs on top of the dough.
