Cut the sponge cake into cubes.

In individual serving glasses or a large trifle dish, layer the sponge cake cubes.

Top with a layer of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.

Pour vanilla custard over the fruit layer.

Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Just before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with mint leaves.
