In a large bowl, mix together the flour and salt.

Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Stir in the sour cream and eggs until the dough comes together.

Divide the dough in half and roll out each portion on a floured surface until very thin.

Cut the rolled out dough into circles using a biscuit cutter or a glass.

Place a spoonful of cherries or wild berries onto each circle.

Fold the circles in half and pinch the edges together to seal.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the perogies in batches for about 5 minutes or until they float to the top.

Remove the perogies with a slotted spoon and transfer to a serving dish.

In a small saucepan, melt the butter and sugar together until it forms a caramel sauce.

Drizzle the caramel sauce over the perogies and serve hot.
