Dutch Babies

Dutch Babies are not actually Dutch, but a Americanized version of the German pancake known as ‘Pfannkuchen’ or ‘Dutch Baby Pancake’.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 30 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 7.

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a blender, combine the flour, milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth.

Place the butter in a cast iron skillet or oven-safe pan and transfer to the preheated oven. Allow the butter to melt completely.

Once the butter has melted, carefully pour the batter into the hot skillet. Return the skillet to the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the Dutch Baby is puffed and golden brown.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve immediately.
