  5. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  7. Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled cake.
  8. Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top.
