Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate together, stirring until smooth.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the sugar and egg mixture, stirring until fully incorporated.

Sift in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish. Drop spoonfuls of dulce de leche onto the batter and use a knife to swirl it throughout.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
