Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 4 equal squares.

Pit the dates and chop them into small pieces.

Place a spoonful of chopped dates and a few crushed almonds in the center of each puff pastry square.

Drizzle a teaspoon of honey over the filling.

Fold the pastry squares diagonally to form triangles and seal the edges by pressing them with a fork.

Brush the turnovers with beaten egg.

Place the turnovers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
