  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 4 equal squares.
  3. Pit the dates and chop them into small pieces.
  4. Place a spoonful of chopped dates and a few crushed almonds in the center of each puff pastry square.
  5. Drizzle a teaspoon of honey over the filling.
  6. Fold the pastry squares diagonally to form triangles and seal the edges by pressing them with a fork.
  7. Brush the turnovers with beaten egg.
  8. Place the turnovers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before serving.
