Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Melt the dark chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.

Stir in the sugar, corn syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches 300°F (150°C) on a candy thermometer.

Remove from heat and stir in the hazelnuts.

Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly.

Sprinkle with sea salt flakes.

Let it cool and set for about 2 hours.
