Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a square baking pan.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the sugar and stir until well combined.

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spread the Nutella evenly over the batter.

Pour the remaining batter over the Nutella layer and gently spread it to cover.

Sprinkle the chopped hazelnuts on top.

Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
