Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, melted butter, egg, milk, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Spoon the batter into greased or lined muffin cups, filling each cup about 2/3 full.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.

Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
