  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a food processor, pulse the pie crust until finely ground. Press the crust into a tart pan.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the cranberries, pecans, lime zest, lime juice, sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Cook over medium heat until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs. Gradually pour the hot cranberry mixture into the eggs, whisking constantly.
  5. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until set.
  7. Allow the tart to cool for 10 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  8. Serve chilled with whipped cream and garnish with fresh cranberries and pecans.
