Add the egg yolk and pulse until the dough comes together.

Press the dough into a tart pan, covering the bottom and sides. Prick the bottom with a fork.

Bake the crust for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until hot but not boiling. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Pour the hot cream over the chopped nuts in a bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes.
