Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9x9-inch (23x23 cm) baking dish and line it with parchment paper.

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Continue cooking until the butter turns golden brown and gives off a nutty aroma, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Pour in the browned butter and stir until well combined.

Add the vanilla extract and eggs to the mixture. Beat until smooth.

Gradually add the flour and mix until just combined. Fold in the walnuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
