Classic Fried Rice
Fried rice is a popular dish in many Asian cuisines and is often made with leftover rice to reduce food waste.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and chopped onion, and sauté until fragrant.

Add diced carrot and cook until slightly softened.

Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and crack the eggs into the empty space. Scramble the eggs until cooked through.

Add frozen peas and cooked rice to the skillet. Stir to combine.

Pour soy sauce over the rice mixture and stir well.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.

Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
