Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon for rolling.

Roll the dough into 1-inch balls, then roll each ball in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until coated.

Place the coated dough balls onto a baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
