In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, salt, and cinnamon.

Whisk the mixture until smooth.

Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla extract and dark chocolate until melted and smooth.

Pour the pudding into serving bowls and let it cool for a few minutes.

Cover the pudding with plastic wrap, making sure the wrap touches the surface of the pudding to prevent a skin from forming.

Refrigerate the pudding for at least 30 minutes to set.

Serve chilled with a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with cinnamon sticks.
