Cinnamon Apple Coffee Cake

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch (23 cm) round cake pan.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, and eggs.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Fold in the chopped apples.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and chopped pecans.

Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture evenly over the batter.
