  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, unsalted butter, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, light corn syrup, and vanilla extract.
  6. Stir in the chopped pecans.
  7. Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until the filling is set.
