Chocolate Walnut Bars
Walnuts are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just blended.

Fold in the walnuts and chocolate chips.

Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.

Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.

Remove from the oven and let cool in the baking dish for 30 minutes.
