  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, folding gently until well combined.
  5. Stir in the vegetable oil and vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cake springs back when lightly touched.
  8. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  9. Dust a clean kitchen towel with powdered sugar.
  10. Invert the cake onto the towel and carefully peel off the parchment paper.
  11. Starting from one end, gently roll the cake up with the towel.
  12. Let the rolled cake cool completely.
  13. Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate ganache by heating the heavy cream in a saucepan until it starts to simmer.
  14. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips and butter.
  15. Stir until the chocolate is melted and the ganache is smooth.
  16. Unroll the cooled cake and spread the chocolate ganache evenly over the surface.
  17. Roll the cake back up, this time without the towel.
  18. Place the rolled cake on a serving platter and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  19. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
