  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Crush the chocolate cookies and mix them with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  3. Toast the hazelnuts in a pan until fragrant, then chop them and set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Fold in the chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  7. Bake for about 50-60 minutes or until the cheesecake is set and slightly golden on top.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  10. Whip the whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Spread it over the chilled cheesecake.
  11. Serve chilled and enjoy!
