  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Crush the chocolate cookies and mix with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in hazelnuts, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set.
  6. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 2 hours.
  7. Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  8. Serve chilled with whipped cream on top.
