  2. Heat the milk in a small saucepan until warm, then add it to the dry ingredients.
  3. Mix well until a dough forms, then knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal pieces.
  7. Roll each piece into a crescent shape and place a few chocolate chips on top.
  8. Roll up the dough, starting from the wider end, and place the crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
