  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch (23 cm) springform pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Mix in the sour cream, flour, and cocoa powder until well combined.
  5. Fold in the dried cranberries and chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter over the crust in the springform pan.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly browned.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  9. Run a knife around the edge of the pan to loosen the cheesecake, then remove the sides of the pan.
  10. Let the cheesecake cool completely on a wire rack.
  11. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer.
  12. Remove from heat and pour over the cooled cheesecake.
  13. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the topping is set.
  14. Serve chilled and enjoy!
