Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.

In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Add the pumpkin puree, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chunks and chopped pecans.

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
