Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcakes
The first chocolate chip cookie was invented by Ruth Graves Wakefield in 1938 when she added chopped up bits of a Nestle semi-sweet chocolate bar into a cookie recipe.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 70 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 12.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Stir in the milk and chocolate chips.

Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners and fill each liner about 2/3 full with the batter.

Place a small ball of cookie dough on top of each cupcake batter.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once the cupcakes are cooled, frost them with vanilla frosting.
