Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine the angel food cake mix and cocoa powder.

Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions.

Pour the batter into an ungreased 10-inch tube pan.

Bake for 35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cake springs back when lightly touched.

Remove the cake from the oven and invert the pan onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, slice the cake horizontally into three equal layers.

Spread whipped topping between each layer and on top of the cake.

Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top of the cake.

Garnish with fresh berries.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
