  2. Slice the onion and sauté in a pan until caramelized.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the caramelized onions, mayonnaise, sour cream, chipotle peppers, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  5. While the dip is baking, cut the pita bread into triangles.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix olive oil and garlic powder. Brush the pita triangles with the olive oil mixture.
