  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring constantly.
  5. In another bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the walnuts.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool in the baking dish for 30 minutes.
  10. Once cooled, remove the brownies from the baking dish and cut into squares.
