Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.

In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter together over a pan of simmering water.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring constantly.

Sift in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and fold gently until just combined.

Stir in the walnuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is still slightly gooey.
