In a medium bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool completely.

Dissolve cherry gelatin in boiling water. Stir in frozen cherries and let chill until partially set.

In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
