Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

Boil the potatoes until tender, then drain and mash them.

In a small pan, roast the garlic cloves until fragrant and slightly browned.

In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, roasted garlic, grated cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well.

Shape the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
