Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Grate the potatoes and squeeze out the excess moisture.

In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, flour, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Shape the mixture into small tots and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Drizzle the tots with vegetable oil and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

While the tots are baking, prepare the gravy. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.

Gradually whisk in the beef stock and Worcestershire sauce.
