Cheesy Nacho Bake
Nachos were invented in 1943 by Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Anaya when he improvised a snack for military wives using what was available in the kitchen.
This is vegetarian and high protein recipe. Dish can be prepared in 35 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 9.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a baking dish, spread a layer of tortilla chips.

Sprinkle half of the Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the chips.

Add a layer of black beans, diced tomatoes, and sliced jalapenos.

Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Serve with dollops of sour cream, guacamole, and chopped cilantro.
