Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Cut the cauliflower into florets and steam them until tender.

Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth. Cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the grated cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt and black pepper.

Place the steamed cauliflower in a baking dish and pour the cheese sauce over it.

Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
