Caramel Pecan Cups
Pecans are native to North America and were a staple food for many Native American tribes.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a food processor, pulse the pecans until finely ground.

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pecans, all-purpose flour, and a pinch of salt.

In a separate bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the egg yolks and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

Press the dough into the bottom and up the sides of greased muffin cups.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes.

Drizzle caramel sauce over the cooled pecan cups and sprinkle with sea salt.
