Caramel-Mallow Bars are a popular treat during holidays and potlucks, loved for their gooey caramel and marshmallow layers.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a saucepan, heat sweetened condensed milk and caramels over low heat until melted and smooth. Pour over the crust in the baking dish.

Sprinkle mini marshmallows evenly over the caramel layer.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped nuts (if using) over the marshmallow layer.

Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the chocolate is melted.

Remove from the oven and let cool for 30 minutes.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
