In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the caramel sauce and chocolate chunks.

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
