Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut into 4 equal squares.

Peel and dice the apples.

In a bowl, mix the diced apples, caramel sauce, cinnamon, and sugar.

Place a spoonful of the apple mixture onto each puff pastry square.

Fold the squares in half diagonally to form triangles and seal the edges with a fork.

Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush the turnovers with the beaten egg.
