  4. Press each side of the bread into the crushed cereal, ensuring it sticks.
  5. Heat butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  6. Place the coated bread slices in the skillet and cook until golden brown on each side, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve the Captain's Crunch French Toast with maple syrup.
