  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter and brown sugar until well combined. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Stir in the butterscotch chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
