  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions and pour it into the prepared pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the baked brownie layer. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the cheesecake is set and the edges are slightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
