Broccoli and Corn Scallop
Broccoli is a member of the cabbage family and is closely related to cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and kale.
This is vegetarian, gluten free and high protein recipe. Dish can be prepared in 50 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 11.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Stir in the cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until the cheese is melted.

In a baking dish, combine the broccoli florets and corn kernels. Pour the cheese sauce over the vegetables and mix well.

In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the top of the scallop.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and the vegetables are tender.

Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
