  1. Grate the cheddar and gruyere cheese.
  2. In a fondue pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Slowly pour in the milk while whisking continuously.
  5. Add the grated cheeses, mustard, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  6. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
  7. Slowly pour the beaten eggs into the cheese mixture while stirring constantly.
  8. Continue cooking for 2-3 minutes until the eggs are cooked through.
  9. Serve the breakfast fondue with bread cubes for dipping.
