Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.

Cut the bread into cubes and place them in the greased baking dish. Sprinkle the dried cranberries over the bread cubes.

In a saucepan, heat the milk, heavy cream, and granulated sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Slowly pour the warm milk mixture into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.

Pour the custard mixture over the bread cubes and cranberries. Press down lightly to ensure all the bread is soaked.

Cut the butter into small pieces and scatter them over the top of the bread pudding.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.
