Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix together the sugar, melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Gently fold in the blueberries and chopped nuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
