Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the almond extract.

Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk. Gently fold in the blueberries.

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared cupcake liners. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

While the cupcakes are baking, prepare the lemon glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
