  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, melt the butter and let it cool slightly. Then whisk in the egg, milk, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the blackberries.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Once the muffins are cool, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
